This adventure plays the story from the lesson The Difference Between Asking and Demanding. Your child stands at the counter beside Marcus, who demands, and learns what Devon knows: a real question leaves room for no — that's what makes people happy to say yes. One path plays the sneaky demand (whining), and one plays the misuse warning: politeness performed as a coupon to be cashed in.

There is no correct ending. Each path protects something and costs something — the goal is for your child to notice the tradeoff, argue about it, and try another path. Every ending closes with one question to talk about together.
